Concussion in Sports

American Medical Society for Sports Medicine recently published an update on managing concussions (https://bit.ly/2Jm7vjU)

It is important for all athletes (especially pediatric athletes) who play contact sports (football, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, etc.) to have pre-season baseline concussion evaluations. Having a baseline exam can help in making individualized management programs for patients who get concussions during their season and in helping the athlete return to play quicker. We have a comprehensive concussion diagnosis and management program at Ross Medical Group.

We have extensive training in treating pediatric and adult patients with concussions and also have experience in treating NFL (National Football League) and NHL (National Hockey League) athletes with concussions.
