Luis Castro, DO, is a highly skilled osteopathic physician on the team of talented doctors at Ross Medical Group in Miami. He was born, raised, educated, and trained in Florida, and prides himself on his keen awareness of the particular medical needs that affect the diverse population living in the Miami area.
Dr. Castro earned his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and is board-certified in family practice by the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. Prior to his medical training, he spent 11 years working as a licensed paramedic and a licensed practical nurse.
Dr. Castro believes in a strong connection between a person’s physical, mental, and emotional needs, and practices the osteopathic philosophy of treating the whole patient rather than just attacking the symptoms of any particular disease.
