About Dr. Nicole A. Ross
Nicole A. Ross DO has joined Ross Medical Group! Dr. Ross, already an accomplished physician, joins a talented team of professionals at Ross Medical Group, bringing her expertise in the fields of Osteopathic and Family Medicine to the family-owned, Miami-based practice.
Dr. Ross was born and raised in Miami, Florida, where she attended Gulliver Preparatory School. She then received her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Wake Forest University, followed by her medical degree from Nova Southeastern University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine.
The newest addition to Ross Medical Group collected a slew of awards during her training period. She captured the 2019 Exceptional Resident Scholar Award from the Florida Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Ross was also awarded the Golden Pineapple Award, given to a medical professional who shows exemplary care to patients at West Kendall Baptist hospital, where she completed her residency. She was named Chief Resident Physician during her final year of training at West Kendall Baptist, proving her ability to handle the added responsibilities that come with such an important position in a hospital.
Dr. Ross is board-certified in Family Medicine and is a member of both the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association. Her areas of expertise include adolescent care and women’s health, namely family planning, preventative care, and menopausal syndromes. This award-winning osteopathic physician makes sure to emphasize doctor-patient relationships, as she believes in the universal treatment of the mind, body, and soul.
On a personal level, Dr. Ross has always felt a kinship towards the female community of Miami, for she has dedicated her life to their comprehensive well- being. As Ross Medical Group celebrates 25 years of providing expert medical
